ABOUT CAMELLIA
This is what it looks like when a studio cares deeply about getting it right.
We are a small studio by choice. Every couple who inquires with us gets Margot's full attention, her genuine creative investment, and a design that could not have existed for anyone else. That is not something we are willing to compromise on, regardless of how many weddings we could fit into a season. That standard is the whole point of this studio.
Camellia exists for couples who believe their wedding should feel like nowhere else. Not a version of something they saw on Instagram. Not a palette chosen because it photographs well. Something entirely their own — built around the specific beauty of their venue, their season, and the atmosphere only they could have imagined. That distinction is everything to us.
My name is Margot Ellis, and I started this studio because I believed wedding florals could feel like more than decoration. Thoughtful, personal, and deeply connected to the couple and the space they're celebrating in.
We work with a small number of couples each year, and every one of them gets our full attention from the first conversation to the last arrangement placed on your wedding day.
Sophie translates Margot's designs into the arrangements you see on your wedding day, bringing five years of precision and artistry to every bloom and installation.

The person who makes it feel effortless
Ellie is on site at every Camellia wedding to oversee execution and ensure each arrangement looks exactly as designed, from the ceremony through the last reception centerpiece.
Present for every placement
We ask different questions than most florists. Not which flowers do you like, but how do you want the room to feel when you walk in. The flowers come after we have that answer.
01.
We design around what is actually beautiful right now — not what was trending last year. Every proposal is grounded in what the season offers at its peak.
02.
Florals designed only for the camera miss the point. We design for the moment when someone walks into the room and stops walking.
03.
More is rarely more. The most memorable arrangements are the ones where every element has a reason to be there and nothing feels excessive.
On your wedding day, you will not think about the flowers. You will just feel them. That is the goal and the standard we hold every wedding to.
03.
Every element in your proposal has a reason to be there. We do not fill space. We do not use filler. Every bloom, vessel, and texture is chosen with intention.
02.
Every wedding starts with a real conversation. Not about flowers — about feeling. We want to understand the atmosphere you want to create before we talk about a single bloom.
01.
Our couples come to us knowing exactly how they want their wedding to feel — they just do not always have the words for it yet. They are drawn to things that feel considered and personal rather than trendy or expected.
They want their celebration to feel like somewhere they never wanted to leave. If that sounds like you, we would love to hear about your wedding.

Rust Manor House
— Margaux & Arden
“From our first conversation I knew she actually listened. Not just to what we said we wanted, but to what we meant. The florals were entirely, unmistakably ours. Nothing we had seen anywhere else, nothing borrowed from another wedding. She gave us something that could only ever have existed for us.”
Merriweather Estate
— Alice & Edward
“She took everything we couldn't put into words and turned it into something more beautiful than we knew how to ask for. Our ceremony space stopped every single guest in their tracks. People who had been to dozens of weddings said they had never seen anything like it. We still get messages about it months later.”
The Inn at Perry Cabin
— Charlotte & Oliver
“I got to the ceremony space before anyone else and just stood there alone for a few minutes before things got chaotic. I genuinely didn't expect the flowers to hit me the way they did. It was like the whole day, everything we'd been planning for months, suddenly felt real and I hadn't even said a word yet.”
Pippin Hill Farm & Vineyards
— Sophie & William
“Every detail felt intentional, like she had somehow understood exactly what we needed before we even knew ourselves. Every time I look at our photos, I feel the same chill I felt walking into that room for the first time. That feeling is impossible to describe, but she made it real and it's something we will carry with us forever.”
